Modern Manzil Downtown in Dubai.

Having stepped foot into Dubai almost five years ago I was quite excited to revisit the city for a second time with a team of 9 Instagrammers, filmmakers and Snapchatters to work with the Dubai Tourism Board to promote and create awareness of the rich culture of the city. I was well aware that I would be greeted by the unforgiving heat from the sun and wondered what my outlook on this alien city would be like by the end of the trip and whether or not I would have a renewed perspective of this city and I have to admit that I actually do.

Our first stop was at the Al Manzil Hotel in Dubai’s Old Town District and I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with its location. Surrounded by all the main points of interests of downtown Dubai from the Burj Khalifa to Dubai Mall - everything was literally a five minute stroll.

Upon our arrival we were greeted by the most divine-smelling reception area that I've ever experienced. I also discovered my love for their mint and lemon drink which was served as soon as we entered (cravings have actually started kicked in!) It's quite hard to fault a hotel which does such generous breakfast spreads, has a great location, a rooftop pool and an enormous bed. I mean what more could a girl ask for? Perfect start to a perfect vacation offering me a home away from home experience. Thank you for an amazing stay! I will be back shortly.
